Looking for Your Money?

Congress recently allocated emergency funding for payments to individuals & families. In general, before all the fine print, most adults are supposed to receive $1200 each, and most dependents kids $500 each.

This was supposed to be IMMEDIATE help for Americans affected by the pandemic and government ordered lock-downs.

Of course, this is a “US Government Program”, so hardly anyone has actually received any money.

If you have not yet received a federal stimulus payment or check, you might want to visit this official IRS site to see if your money is on the way. (Although “plagued” with bugs, the site works some of the time.)

If the IRS needs more information, the site will request such data as address, bank account # and routing #. Then it will politely tell you to keep on waiting for your money.

If the IRS already has your information on file, you might see this:

You are eligible for the payment.
Once we have your payment date, we will update this page.
We will deposit your payment to the bank account below.

In other words.. keep waiting
